Introduction

 

The purpose of my online press room is to develop a modern and fresh image for Glossier through this May 4 product drive as well as informing the publics through social media content, news releases, and the like.

The applicable publics are young adults from 16-23, as well as business professionals looking to learn more about the brand and my orchestrated event. 

The main style consideration that I made when designing these documents was to create within the brand image Glossier has already, while putting my own spin on each project. I had to be careful in this area to develop within the knowledge I have about each medium and their purpose. 

Reflection

The source that I used for environmental scanning was www.glossier.com. The information that I received from this site was basic brand information so that I could develop my event in the most fitting way possible.

The main lesson I learned from this assignment was how to create the different aspects of a press room, which will help me immensely as I progress throughout college towards my career in strategic communications. In the future, I will be sure to improve the ways I strive to reach my public, because something I found difficult was adapting the correct tone and channel in a way that communicated my information sufficiently, but would still sound appealing to my audience.
